Before The Little Things Disappear

Childhood rarely announces when it's about to change.
One day, a favourite yellow bus is carried everywhere. Tiny shoes are still awkward to put on. Books are chosen by colour instead of words, and every patch of grass feels like a place worth discovering. The world is still small enough to fit between home, the playground downstairs, and the reassuring reach of mum and dad.
Then somehow, those things quietly disappear.
At one year old, Asher is standing in that fleeting space between babyhood and little boyhood. His days are filled with curious hands, wobbly steps, and the kind of wonder that turns the ordinary into adventure.
For the Ng family, this session wasn't about creating memories. It was about preserving the ones already unfolding. The everyday rituals and little details that one day become the stories they miss most.
Because the moments we long for years later are rarely the grand ones. They're often the ordinary afternoons when our children were exactly who they were, before they became someone new.
